Third Draft

Firstly I chose my font using fontspace. I chose this font because it looks very edgy and cool, it is also different to my other fonts meaning that it will stand out.

I then cropped out the text using the magic wand tool.

I then duplicated the font by right clicking and pressing duplicate. I then enlarged the duplicated text and used the paint bucket tool to re colour the new font

I then put the original font over the duplicated font, giving it a layered affect, making it stand out even more.

Improvements

To improve my first draft of my magazine I will be adding more technical elements into my magazine. I will be making changes to font and layout on my double page spread aiming to make the article easier to read and to make the page stand out more, I will be adding more colour into the magazine and trying to show my Photoshop skills more when editing my photographs.

Props...

I chose to use this sofa in Mollies photoshoot because it fit with the vintage feel of the magazine. It also doesn't take away attention from the artist and made her look very casual, fitting with my chosen genre.

Secondary Model

        I have chosen to use Molly as my secondary model for my contents page. I have made this decision because i think he has a very edgy and unique look that fits well with my genre. She is also very photogenic and has a very versatile face. I feel like her look will fit in very well with my magazine and my chosen genre.

Time inc and Bauer

After researching two major media comanies I have decided to pitch my mgazine to Bauer. I have made this desision because they work with more music media meaning that they have more experience in promoting music media and seem to have a younger target audience than Time inc and this matches with my target audience.
